I offer computer and laptop repair services with home visits in Essen, Hagen, and the surrounding Ruhr area. I come to your home or office, so you don't have to carry your computer to a repair shop. The entire appointment can be conducted in English.

My name is Vincent Nico Bruni. I work alone, so you will always speak with the same person over the phone, via email, and in person. I take the time to explain what I am doing in plain language, without assuming any technical knowledge.

How a Visit Works:

You can call, write, or send an appointment request, and briefly explain what the problem is. At the appointment, we will first examine the problem together. Then, I explain the options, and if you agree, I carry out the work on the spot. Finally, we check together to make sure everything is working the way you need it to. I charge for the time I spend with you. I cannot promise a successful repair in every case, for example, if a part has failed permanently. I will openly tell you if a repair no longer makes sense.

Typical situations

A laptop that takes several minutes to start up usually has an old mechanical hard drive. Replacing it with an SSD and optimizing Windows can make many of these devices significantly faster.

After a Windows update, the computer may only show an error message. In many cases, the documents and photos on the drive can be saved before Windows is repaired or reinstalled.

If you have moved to Germany, you may find yourself facing a computer, router, or letter from your internet provider in German. Where the device allows it, I change the display language of Windows to English. I can also translate any requests from your router or internet provider and help you set up your internet connection, Wi-Fi, and printer.
